Music in the Park
The City of Imperial Beach Music in the Park series is held at Veterans Park on select Fridays in the summer. This family-friendly event is completely free to attend, offering a wonderful opportunity for all to enjoy. Food vendors will be available on-site. Enjoy live music with friends and family under the summer sky at Veterans Park featuring different music each week.

- Where will the band be playing? The band will be playing in the heart of Veterans Park 1075 8th Street, Imperial Beach, CA 91932, on the rotunda stage.
- Can I bring a chair or a blanket? The venue is set up for lawn and picnic-style seating. Remember to bring your chairs and blankets. Canopies and umbrellas are allowed behind the canopy line. When the concert begins, we ask that they be taken down to prevent viewing obstructions.
- Can I bring outside food or drinks? Participants are allowed to bring their own food and drinks (BBQ’s and alcohol are prohibited).
- Will there be food and drink available on site? Yes, there will be various food trucks each night. Participants are allowed to bring their own food and drinks (BBQ’s and alcohol are prohibited).
- Where are the restrooms located? Restrooms are located at the North/East side of the park in the permanent building.
- Can I bring my dog? Yes, dogs are welcome at the event as long as they are well behaved, on a leash no longer than six feet and you have doggie bags on hand. There is a doggie bag station in the dog park located at the North/East area of the park.
- What should I wear/bring? It will be warm/hot when the concert begins but the temperature cools down in the evening, a jacket is recommended. We suggest bringing bug repellent, sunscreen and water. Candles are prohibited including bug citronella candles.
- Where can I park? Arrive early, as parking fills up very quickly. We suggest you walk or ride your bike to the concerts. Onsite street parking is available as well as the Boys and Girls Club parking lot adjacent to the park. Accessible parking is available on site but is limited.
- Are there other activities to take part in at the Imperial Beach Summer Music in the Park Series? There is a playground on site located on the North/West side of the park as well as a dog park for your pups. Each week there will also be various outreach booths and activities on-site.

- No Smoking or Vaping. Imperial Beach parks and beaches are smoke free by law.
- No Running or Jumping around the stage area. Please stay off the steps of the rotunda.
- No Barbecues or Open Flames
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your pet.
- No Fireworks or Sparklers
- No Alcohol and any glass containers
- No Weapons
- No Helium-Filled Balloons
- No Riding Bikes, Scooters, etc., on Grass or Sidewalks
- No Motorized/Battery powered Vehicles, Bikes, Scooters, etc.
- No Drones
- No Tent Stakes or Objects that Would Penetrate the Grass
