OVERVIEW
The Design Review Board is a City Council-appointed Board whose members are charged with the review of certain proposed development projects to determine whether or not the proposed development conforms with the policies of the City's General Plan, Certified Local Coastal Program, Zoning Standards, and Design Review Criteria. The Board plays a large role in protecting the Classic Southern California atmosphere of the City (IBMC 19.83 Section 2.31.030A).
