Design Review Manual and Guidelines
The Design Review Manual and Guidelines provide guidelines for Community Design and addresses the arrangement of spatial relationships. Urban design is an integral part of the structure of a city and should be applied in the context of the entire community. The Design Manual of the City of Imperial Beach provides comprehensive, medium-range guidelines. Its provisions implement the long-range, comprehensive, and general policies and objectives of the Imperial Beach General Plan and Local Coastal Plan. The Design Manual of the City of Imperial Beach applies to all parts of the City. Any new development should refer to the Design Review Guidelines and Addendum as well as the commercial design guidelines to guide the design of the proposed project.
