Report an Issue

This page is intended to help you contact staff to report issues to City staff. 

 A few notes before proceeding:

  • This system is intended for non-emergency issues.  It is not monitored 24/7. Any emergency should be reported to 911.
  • If a concern needs immediate attention by the Police Department please call the non-emergency line at 619-498-2400 or the Dispatch Center at 858-565-5200.
  • This system does not generate Police Reports.  If you need a Police Report, please click here for more information.
  • When reporting potential Code Violations, it is extremely helpful if the picture is current (less than a week old) and clearly shows the issue you are reporting.
  • Please provide City staff 1-3 business days to respond and/or address any issues reported.  
  • All complainant information is confidential and will not be disclosed by the City unless required by a court order or subpoena.
